The unique design of Second Nature has made it an award winning product. In 1998, Salts Healthcare was awarded a 1998 Independent Living Design Award by Phab and the British Healthcare Trade Association (BHTA). The award was given for the unique flange connection that enables the pouch to rotate, allowing optimum positioning for comfort.
Ease of Use Unique connection
Our revolutuionary new flange connection - unlike other two-piece systems Second Nature connects by fitting the pouches around the outside of the flange, with a light fingertip touch. This makes application light, quick and easy even for those with poor dexterity.
Rotating pouch
Once in place, pouches can be rotated, allowing optimum positioning at any time of the day.
Water-resistant backing
Can be quickly dried after bathing or showering.
Wide range of sizes
Standard, mini and now NEW STOMA CAPS. All sizes can easily be interchanged and worn when appropriate.
Comfort
Soft, silky layer of breathable film on both sides - film contains tiny holes which allow a cushion of air between the body and pouch
The cover is water-resistant and can be patted dry with a towel - preventing unnecessary changing of pouch after a bath or shower
Security Well proven hydrocolloid which is:
Suitable for even sensitive skins whilst providing maximum adhesion
Lozenge shaped for maximum depth of adhesive border
Soft and flexible to mould to the contours of the skin
