Happy New Year
Been a while hasnt it. Happy New Year to you. I thought I had better make a new entry before 2006 actually ends.... :/
Sorry I havent been keeping this up to date but Ive been poorly - oh so poorly *sobs*. Ive had this damn cold/bug thing thats been going around this area lately, and it totally floored me. I havent felt so ill from a cold in years. And every day the symptoms were different. One day I couldnt swallow cos of the sore throat. Next day I was weak as a kitten. Day after that I couldnt stop coughing. Day after that, I was feeling sick. Day after that I was totally bunged up. Day after that my sinuses were screaming blue murder. Day after that my nose was a snot highway. Its been going on for nearly 3 weeks now and I still feel bleugh. Ive got a persistant cough and silly little nagging head-cold-headache and stuffy etc. I even ended up spending 4 days over New Year in BED! Now, how pathetic is that for someone with a poxy cold!
Oh well, start the year as you mean to go on.
So, what else has been happening around here since my last post.
Umm...
Erm....
You know what... I cant think of anything, as its all be focused around this damn cold. We've all had it. Only the dog has escaped as they cant get our colds apparently. But even shes been sneezing every so often... I swear she smiles afterwards and is taking the mickey out of us! lol.
Did ya'll have a good Christmas? Ours was OK, nothing special but nothing disasterous either. It was.... "quiet, you know!".... ever notice how people say that. At least in the UK they do. You ask "did you have a nice christmas then?" and they say "yeah, quiet, you know...." - in which case it prolly means "boring as heck, but we do the same every year..." heh. :)
I havent even been gaming much! I know, I know... I really must have been ill! But, what I have done has gotten myself ever so temptingly closer to that fabled level 60 mark in World of Warcraft. Im now level 59 and a half - another few days of playing, whenever that should be, and Ill be done. yayyyy! Just in time to start a new character over, and then to see the level cap raised to 70 later this year when the next expansion pack come sout.
Have you all patched your windows computers? That latest security flaw couldve been nasty. Fortunately its not affected me and M$ pulled its finger out and got the patch online yesterday instead of tuesday next week as they first suspected. If you havent already updated your Windows PC via automatic update or windows up date go to this page and do so manually to keep yourself safe from malicious donkeys with nothing better to do all day than shaft your PC over for you.

Well, thats it for now. Nothing much to say, nothing much has happened. Like I say Ive been down with the cold all the time. Maybe next entry something exciting will have happened... maybe even something with a 60-ring to it. .... who knows.

OMG Jason, you sound exactly how i feel! My bad cold started the day before New Years Eve and i'm still under the weather! Like you, my symtoms range day by day.....today i am really cold and have that aching feeling in my bones.....yesterday i felt ok apart from a cough and the day before that i was chesty and coughing up vile green stuff (sorry, TMI!). Bet it's the same flaming bug!
Get better soon matey...sorry you had to miss the NYE celebrations......i celebrated but felt dreadful! Boo bloody hoo :-(

Im sorry you're still feeling so yuk Jase, I'm recovered from that cold now but not gd u having it for 3 weeks. Really hope you're feeling better now...9 days later and your avid journal readers are still hanging on tenter-hooks to see if you are better or if your nose finally exploded :P
